Online chess classes for kids in Chennai
Chennai is one of India's great chess cities: Viswanathan Anand grew up there, and many children want to play. Our live online classes give your child a coach, a small batch and a structured course, from home.
We are based in Hyderabad and teach online only, so we don't have a centre in Chennai. Children join on Microsoft Teams from Adyar, Anna Nagar, Velachery, OMR or anywhere else.
Classes are in English (and also Hindi and Telugu). We don't teach in Tamil yet. Children are grouped by age and level, and move through 7 levels, each ending with a test.
Why Chennai families choose our online classes
A step-by-step course
98 lessons in 7 levels, from the first moves to tournament play, with a test at each level.
Tournament habits
Students play online tournaments on our website, good practice for the many over-the-board events in Chennai.
Small batches
Up to 10 children, grouped by age and level, so the coach knows every child.
From home
Two fixed classes a week, with no travel in the evening.
The same for every family
How the classes work
